Pilot cases for design-driven participative campus development

The project Live Baltic Campus conducts six regional pilot cases, one in each participating city. These pilot result into one research report and five integrated campus development plans, that take into account the inputs from relevant stakeholders, link to on-going city plans and development processes as well as address the spatial connection between the campus and its surroundings.

The objective is not only develop the campus areas in question, but also learn about design based co-develoment process and identify best practices, which can be then adapted to other city planning processes in the future. Thus the collaboration between higher education and the cities is utmost important and for there will be a regional stakeholder group formed to both participate and co-design the pilot area and personally experience the design oriented work method.
